Hi Dan, You got some great images from what I thought was a very difficult situation. I guess a little creative thinking can overcome all kinds of barriers. I like what you did with this one(you probably knew that I would). The pattern and silhouette of the birds are very striking. How did you get this pattern effect in the background? John

Hi John,

I had fun pushing this image to the outer limits in Photoshop! In CS3 under Layer Styles one of the selections is Texture as a sub category of Bevel and Emboss. This is the texture you get. I am trying to figure out if there are other textures to choose from. At the moment this is the default texture. With the Opacity slider you can adjust how much of the texture is applied.
