This is downright creepy Dan!!!! Have you been practising the dark arts? I don't know how you did it, but this image certainly has a spooky feeling about it.
Hi John,
This stone skull is a gift, given to my daughter from her employer at the Art Gallery. I placed the skull on wooden block to elevate it and used my black velvet backdrop for the background. I set the shot up then turned out the lights. Using a headlamp I carry in my pack that puts out a nice white light, I painted the skull with indirect light over a long exposure time.
In truth, this is all that is left of the last door to door salesmen that knocked on our door! Got to go, someone’s at the door! Looks like I will get another chance to add to my collection!!!
